Over the years, we have seen rap entertainers and their talents go waste. We are here to do something about it. We understand how difficult it is to make it in this industry without the personal help of someone with major clout.
We are giving upcoming rap artistes the opportunity to participate in a 3weeks intelligent rap contest and also, to get promoted in a different way.
A beat would be online by 12:00 am on the 2nd of February, participating rappers will download and follow these steps :-
Feb 2 - Registration (like the facebook page, write your name, phone number and twitter handle on the facebook wall ) and Submission of lyrics (write out a 16bars to the beat downloaded on the facebook wall) and voting (get your friends and fans to like the page and your lyrics) on facebook.com/pmonkz starts
Feb 8 - Registration and submission of lyrics ends
Feb 10 - Voting ends
Feb 11 - Table Of Truth 1(T.O.T) {this is where our in-house judges select the best top 20 lyrics based on 60% votes and 40% Judges}
Feb 12 - Top 20 will be posted online (pmonkz.blogspot.com & facebook.com/pmonkz)
Feb 13 & 14 - Studio session (top 20 will come to our studio to voice the lyrics written on the beat downloaded)
Feb 15 - We'll post the recorded song back online (facebook.com/pmonkz) and voting ( you're to get people to download your song, listen to it, like the page and like your song) starts immediately
Feb 18 - Voting ends
Feb 19 - Table Of Truth 2 (T.O.T) {our in-house judges will select the top 5 } and the top5 will be posted back online
Feb 20 / 21 / 22 - Radio tour
Feb 23 - Grand finale at an open mic session where the CALLIDUS REX 3 will be crowned.
Prize for CALLIDUS REX 3 :-
1- promotion of 2 ready made song both online and radio.
2- Production of a song and full promotional package.
3-Radio tour.
