@PMONKZ EVENT - A LETTER FROM FREEDOM HOUSE

Hi,
FreedomHall in 2012 was beautiful with Kunle Ayo dropping in from South Africa, Kellissa (Bob Marley's grand-daughter) from Jamaica, Anastasia from Brooklyn, New York and Abimbola Dare from the UK; to perform. We also hosted great Nigerian Artistes like Jesse Jags, Sound Sultan, Timi Dakolo, Paul Play, Weird MC, Tosin Martins, Mike Aremu, Bez, Yinka Davies, Rugged Man, Ego, Threadstone, Ruby, and many others. Thank you for your support.

FreedomHall 2013 has started on a bigger note as we have discovered fantastic talents in the last few weeks. To make it better and improve service delivery, we have consolidated all our efforts, time and resources into making FreedomHall on Thursdays which holds at Terra Kulture, the best weekly event in Lagos. We are taking performances to the next level as we improve on the quality of live music, poetry, spoken word, comedy, etc. delivered at each event.

Hence, this week, as much as FreedomHall on Thursday is a public holiday, rehearsals hold on Monday and Tuesday for performances. FreedomHall is still an open mic, meaning you can perform also and entry is free. We are going to have a lot of support from organisations locally and globally. So, join us this Thursday at Terra Kulture, Plot 1376, Tiamiyu Salvage str, VI Lagos from 7-10pm. No Nigerian timing. Loads of Artistes and poets are confirmed to perform, it will be fun.

FreedomHall is a part of the global Social Media Week (SMW) February 2013. Follow us @freedomhalllive on Twitter and tweet #smwFreedomHall. Our event is billed to happen on Thursday, February 21st, 2013 at Terra Kulture. It will be streamed live and you can watch on-line from any part of the world.
