Afrobeat king, multi-Grammy award nominee, and arguably one of Africa’s greatest music exports, Femi Kuti will hit the jubilee age of fifty on June 16, 2012. To pay tribute and celebrate with this Nigerian icon at the premises of the New African Shrine, Agidingbi, Lagos at 4pm on June 16 will be his family, friends, a long list of invited music artistes and celebrities, industry personalities and his fans and well-wishers.
The New African Shrine is expected to be filled to capacity, as Yeni Kuti, the organizer and sister to the celebrant apologies for not specifically inviting everybody, but still wishes everyone comes out to make the day a memorable one for Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti.
