{PMONKZ CHAT} EDWARD FORTUNE'S 10MINS WITH CHUDDY K

The person Mr. Edward Fortune has for us this week is who we all know.
He gave us a feel of what R n B should sound like when he dropped his very first single titled: SLOW SLOW. Though he sounded so much like Wande coal, he still didn't allow the thoughts of that hinder him from proving that music is the only thing he was born to do. He did a couple of collaborations with several artistes and one of which was a chat bursting track, SHAMPOO, that had sexy miss Mocheddah on it. He went low a little after couple of marketing deals went bad and he decided to re-brand himself so he could give his fans a feel of some "GAGA CRAZY" things. He was about jetting out for his Malaysia trip when i caught up with him at the departure wing of the Murtala Mohammed Airport and he was kind enough to spare 10 minutes out of his time. Chukwudi Kent Agali, better known to the public as "Chuddy K", believe me he's a down to earth and very humble gentle man. You just need to meet with him and you would have a fulfilled day. Enjoy my very short conversation with him:

*E.F:-  Gaga crazy is actually making everyone crazy right now. How does it feel to be d rave of the moment?

Am so grateful to God and my fans for the love and support so far and for the accolades giving to me for the song. I fell like working even more to be a better role model for young one's out there and to reach out to d world at large.

*E.F:-  Did you foresee the song going this far while you were recording?

I knew it was a great song right from when I dropped my first line on my beat. Thumbs up to my producer Spells for such a great production, because it became Dj's favorite and Am extremely grateful.

*E.F:-  What inspired the song?

Loads of my female fans and male all wanted a chuddy k's song to dance to. So I decided to make my next single a dance hall/party song for them.

*E.F:-  You used to be known for the “love and slow song thing", why the drift all of a sudden?

I am versatile in my work! I am not just an R n b singer; I can give u the ginger. I can make u dance. I can make u sing along. So it all depends on the kind of beat my producer offers me; and then u can't categorize me to RnB alone because am a Nigerian and I identify with Nigerian genre of music.

*E.F:-  Aside gaga crazy, what should we be expecting again?

Watch out for Egusi, Sunday morning etc.

*E.F:-  Your voice and that of Wande Coal sounds alike, how do u feel each time you hear such comments?

We come a long way so we are brothers from different ends and we cool. So each time the comment comes up, I just feel good knowing that it’s a positive remark.

*E.F:-  Final words to your fans.

Want to say a very big thank you all, the brands, ACADA magazine, and all media houses that has given me the chance to be heard. Want to say God bless them all and their efforts would never be in vain. To all my fans, you should continue dancing to my music, request for it on radios and TV stations, make it both your caller tunes and ringtones. That just goes to show how much love you all have for me. God go make you bigger oh! I definitely promise not to disappoint.
