PME: Tell us how music started for you?
Music for me has always been something i feel strongly about. No i
didn’t start up in the church... lol! I was in a group back in the years. An old friend introduced me to digital music production 10 years ago and that helped to hone my skills as a musician since i can make my own music. Ever since I've been working , producing for people and generally improving myself musically.
PME: What is your prospect in a tightly competitive music industry
I'm not here to compete. I'm just here to make music and do my thing. i think that is evident in my music and journey so far. I don’t make songs because that's the new direction music is taking. I do it because that is what comes to my head. I'm also not in a hurry because i intend to be here for a longtime. Music is my 9-5
PME: What has kept you believing in your type of music and how has it been?
I believe in my music because its my music and in recent times the acceptance has been amazing. The way people meet me and say “wow, nice one man”. Those things just have a way of fueling your passion, drive and hunger even more. I can keep doing this because the people have asked me to ride on.
PME: What is the biggest thing you have acquired as a musician?
Respect from friends, family and those who said I'd never amount to nothing because I've decided to follow my heart and chase my dreams. All of that has changed. I'm grateful to God for bringing me thus far.
PME: What is best you have been paid as a performer?
Can't really say because to me I haven't started getting paid just yet.
PME: Who are you looking up to in the industry and who would you like to work with?
I'd love to work with loads of people. For my album I'd like to have Tuface Idibia, zahara from S.A, Dbanj, Fally Ipupa, Ice prince, Wande Coal, M.I etc. Its a slightly long list. Who i look up to in the industry, that would have to be Tuface Idibia.
PME: Has been famous changed you and what's you take on popular believe that fame change most artiste from good to worse?
Well sometimes its the people around you that change because they expect you to. I'm just a busier person now. I cant do certain things i used to do or go to places i used to go. Some friends understand and others don’t. Change is always a hard pill to swallow. However I constantly pray to God to keep me grounded because its really not easy to be humble.
PME: Tell us your background?
I am from Edo state. I had my primary education at SOLID FOUNDATION Montessori school, Apapa. I moved on to government college Ikorodu and later left for Ikotun high school where I concluded my secondary education. Born to Mr. and Mrs. George Amoni in Lagos. I have one sibling.
PME: What will you do if you were not doing music?
Well if i wasn’t doing music i possibly would have been in the force. Naval force maybe
